Background
Medico-Legal Brief Update is a free email newsletter written by
eight clinicians
which provides medical-legal guidance and comment for personal injury, clinical negligence, employment and criminal litigation. It is aimed at professionals involved in the medico-legal world including both lawyers and experts. It goes out to over 10,000 people, most of whom are lawyers, claims handlers or doctors in the personal injury field.

It is edited by psychiatrist Dr Michelle Tempest who also teaches both medicine and law at Cambridge University. She was the editor of the book The Future of the NHS (xpl Publishing, 2006) and also writes The Psychiatrist Blog.
